The Shift to Humantra 2.0
As we step into the quantum era, we must ask ourselves some serious questions.
How do we add value to the world in this new landscape? What does it mean to evolve into Humantra 2.0?
With automation rapidly replacing physical labor and AI encroaching on intellectual tasks, where do we fit in? What is the new skill that will define our future?
This new skill is unlike anything we’ve seen before.
In fact, when I explain it, you might find yourself resisting it—maybe even questioning its relevance.
But let me remind you of something: if you had told farmers a hundred years ago that they’d be running hospitality businesses or working as accountants, they would have laughed you off the farm.
The idea would have been completely foreign to them. Yet here we are in a world they couldn’t have imagined.
The Rise of Influencers and the Changing Landscape
Let me ask you something before I share the three key skills we need moving forward.
If you have kids, how many of them want to be influencers? TikTok stars? You might chuckle or roll your eyes.
I see that reaction everywhere. It’s that same skepticism—thinking, “This kid wants to waste their time on TikTok? They should be studying a textbook and getting ready for 1986 like I did.”
Sound familiar? That’s exactly what your grandparents thought about your career choices.
We’ve become them without even realizing it. We struggle to understand the future because it doesn’t look like our past, and that scares us.
We want our children to fit into the safe, familiar world we knew—even if that world wasn’t particularly fulfilling for us.
But here’s the truth: the future isn’t about fitting in anymore. It’s about standing out.
The Currency of the Future: Uniqueness and Talent
What will be celebrated in this new era?
Uniqueness. Talent. Curiosity. Fascination. These will be the currency of the future because no one else can replicate them.
Today, we train millions of accountants, lawyers, and nutritionists.
AI is already replacing them. But even before AI fully takes over, sheer competition has driven these industries to the point of commoditization.
The traditional system is being demonetized, democratized, and disrupted before our eyes.
The Need for a Multi-Versity
So, what does that mean for us?
McKinsey predicts that our children will have an average of 29 different careers in their lifetime.
That means by the time they finish university, the world they prepared for will already be obsolete.
We don’t need a university anymore—we need a multi-versity. A dynamic, ever-evolving approach to learning that equips us to generate value, not just execute predefined tasks.
The future belongs to those who embrace creativity, adaptability, and innovation.
It’s time to stop looking back and start preparing for what’s ahead.
Humantra 2.0 isn’t just about surviving the shift—it’s about thriving in it.
