After completing my 13th Dr. Joe Dispenza meditation retreat—his first-ever 10-day immersion—I returned home deeply impacted by the experience.
As I settled back into life in Dubai after spending time in Mexico, I found myself reflecting on why I continue to attend these retreats.
The answer is simple: I learn something new every time I come back. I am a different person with a different perspective.
This time, two realizations stood out with striking clarity: the power of focus and the vast, untapped potential of our reality.
1. The Power of Focus
Many of us believe we have control over our attention, but in reality, we often don’t.
Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are frequently driven by our environment or by chemical addictions to familiar emotional states.
These patterns keep us locked in a loop, reliving past traumas and repeating emotional experiences without realizing it.
Focus is the key to breaking free from that loop. When we learn to direct our attention consciously, we begin to shift our state of being.
Without this discipline, we remain stuck—prisoners of a repetitive internal world. Awareness and deliberate focus are the first steps toward personal freedom and transformation.
2. The Untapped Potential of Reality
Science has shown us that the atoms making up everything around us—including ourselves—are 99.9999% empty space, or more precisely, potential energy.
Yet, we fixate on the 0.0001% that appears solid and material. The same principle applies to perception: our eyes only detect 0.004% of the electromagnetic spectrum.
We live within a narrow bandwidth of reality, engaging only a fraction of what is actually possible.
This realization is profound. It reveals how limited our daily experience of reality truly is—and how much possibility lies beyond what we can see.
We are surrounded by infinite potential, but remain focused on a sliver of it.
Bridging Focus and Potential
Combining these two insights—the capacity for intentional focus and the understanding that reality is mostly untapped potential—reveals something powerful.
By choosing to direct our attention toward a new outcome, a new version of ourselves, or a new life experience, we begin to shift our internal GPS.
We stop recycling the past and start creating from possibility.
The more consistently we focus on that potential field, the more real it becomes. In doing so, we activate that vast emptiness—the energy field—and begin shaping it into the reality we choose.
This isn’t abstract theory. It’s something I’ve experienced firsthand. Years of meditation have improved my focus, and as my focus sharpens, I’m able to create faster.
As a result, my awareness expands and my personal evolution accelerates.
Focus as a Superpower
As we move deeper into a time of transformation and awakening, our ability to focus is becoming our superpower.
The future won’t belong to those who simply react but to those who intentionally create. And creation starts with attention.
This retreat reminded me of a powerful truth: when we learn to focus beyond the visible and the familiar, we gain the ability to shape reality itself.
